They are the worst in the business. Their prices are sky high and the service is worst. Its been three months since I went for a photo shoot. They duped me to get more pics and then charged me very high prices for each photo clicked. Also I did not get all the promised pictures and when called they say they will call back but they never have. The photos were not delivered on time and I am still to get one of the picture from them. The frame quality was also not as expected.Overall, the worst place to spend your money. Its a total waste

Never have I experienced customer service at this kind of low. One would typically assume that with the economy being in the poor shape its in, you would want to show your customers a superior customer service experience. This, at the very least, would ensure that you retain the customer base you have already built. Likewise, this would also guarantee that your new customers desire a return visit (and obviously to brag about their fabulous treatment at your establishment therefore bringing in additional business). Apparently this is NOT the thinking of Finish Line employees in Northwood Mall (in North Charleston, SC). The staff there treated me like a piece of garbage that no one wanted to pick up.
I visited this store to purchase shoes three days ago. Mind you, these shoes are a far cry from cheap, and to add insult to injury I purchased TWO pairs of shoes during my initial visit. At that time I would not consider my experience to be either good nor bad. I received the same amount of customer service one would expect from dollar general. After this purchase, it took one attempt at working out in my new shoes to find out that they were awful. They cut the circulation off in my toes and left me in terrible pain. Today, I went back to Finish Line to exchange (not return) the shoes. I walked in and went straight to the shoes I knew I wanted to try. A sales associate asked me if I needed something and after explaining to him that I wanted to try these particular shoes simply grabbed a pair for me to try on. I asked him if there had been any comments/ reviews on the shoes since they began carrying them and what his personal feelings were on these shoes. Merely looked at me, made an extremely snide face and said, “I don’t wear THAT brand of shoes.” I asked him why you wouldn’t wear such an expensive brand of shoes that were supposed to have such an added benefit AND look good. He said, “I haven’t worn THAT brand since the 7th grade, that’s why.” I told him I liked the shoes and wanted to proceed with the exchange. He took the shoes to the checkout counter and told the cashier I needed to do an exchange and walked away.
It was another 5 minutes before any of the 6 (Yes, SIX EMPLOYEES) to even acknowledge our existence. The thing that tops it is that I was the ONLY customer in the ENTIRE store at the time (and will GLADLY provide receipt, including time of visit and date to anyone who likes, therefore you can watch any video surveillance they might have, and see as the employees laugh, talk and have a good time while refraining to acknowledge a paying customer - all within 10-15 feet of myself and my coworker.) In addition to seeing this downright HORRIBLE customer service experience, you might also notice that we are the only white people in the store. I dearly hope that the basis for this treatment wasn’t racially motivated, but had I and my 5 white friends goofed around and ignored my African American PAYING CUSTOMER, not only would I get FIRED but I would have lawsuits hanging out of my ears.
In addition to this already bad experience, the cashier’s only words to me were “Is this what you are exchanging?” “I need your ID.” and “What’s your phone number.” No words were shared other than this. Yes, not even so much as “Hello,” “Thank you,” “ Please come again,” “Have a good day” Or even “BYE” Yesh… even establishments as fast paced as Burger King provide these simple pleasantries. I didn’t even get my original receipt back, nor a copy with the other pair of shoes I originally purchased on it.
My question at this time is, why on earth would I ever shop there or allow anyone I know to shop there ever again in the future? The answer is, I won’t. Finish Line, you have severely disappointed me. Please see below some of the other establishments within feet- yards- and one even miles away (yes, there are many other stores in the mall), selling the same product for the same or cheaper price.

Same Mall, again SAME PRICE
Or I could have gone somewhere completely different that’s not too far away, like Dick’s Sporting Goods:

Reebok… I apologize for the Finish Line’s employee who finds Reebok’s shoes distasteful. I still like them. J

This store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My bags were randomly searched for no reason. In spite of the fact that everything in the store is under $40 is was highly insulted that the Manager wanted to search my bags when I was leaving the store. The owner need to review his policy as I am taking this to facebook.
Good Luck!

It was bad enough that Dan pulled my delicate, white strappy pumps with the string of fake rhinestones across the toe out from under a pile of dirty shoes on the shelves behind the counter. But when I exclaimed in surprise at their poor treatment of my shoes, he just said, "That's how we do it. That's where we store them." I responded with, "Yeah, but you could see that these were fancy pumps. It doesn't take a lot to figure out you shouldn't pile a bunch of boots on top of them. He responded with, "Well, you can take them somewhere else, then." I couldn't believe it. So I said, "Wow. That's not how you build a business. You build it by word of mouth." He said, "We've been here 25 years; we don't need your word of mouth." I was shocked! I said, "I can't believe you are treating a customer this way! You should have apologized immediately in the first place!" Unfortunately, he had run my credit card and I had signed it already before it had gotten this bad. After the "we don't need your word of mouth," I made sure I told every person I saw in the mall for the next 30 minutes where NOT to take your shoes for repair and why. During this, I noticed that several of the rhinestones were actually damaged and dangling or missing altogether. So, I went back to the store and asked for a refund for the repair. Dan refused, pointing to the sign that said, "No refunds, exchanges only." I said, "How are you going to exchange a repair service? You WILL refund my money." So he called mall security, and had the acting skill to make it sound like I was a threat (which is hilarious...I weigh 118 pounds). So, the security guy comes, and simply takes Dan's side, without even hearing the case. Then HE calls for backup! I wish there had been cameras to record all this! But the backup guy was an elderly man who could see what really happened (I showed him my dangling rhinestones). Then, the first guy calls for yet another guard. Mind you, I've done nothing but stand there showing my damaged shoes, and asking for my $12 back. Thankfully, the last guy was great. I'd asked for a higher authority to file a complaint with, and he provided me with a form to fill out and agreed with me when I said, "He called three security guards for a tiny girl upset about his maltreatment of her pretty white shoes. If I were him, I'd rather have given her the $12 out of my pocket." All that to say, if your shoes are nice enough that you don't want shoes piled on top of them, don't take them to Shoe Doctor at Arnot Mall for repair!
8/5/2010 Tami and Pete are the owners. I emailed back and forth with Tami and, while she apologized for my "inconvenience," said Dan could have handled it better, she defended both their storage system and Dan's refusal to give back my money. No shock at how her employee treated a customer. She suggested I take the shoes into Pete to look at, which I did yesterday. He got exasperated, angry, and loud very quickly and would not even let me finish a sentence. He said he was not shocked at Dan's response at all. Which isn't surprising, given his own behavior. On my way out of the mall, an elderly couple stopped me and said, "What'd they do to your shoes?" When I told them the story, they then related their own "shoe mistreatment story" from The Shoe Doctor at Arnot Mall.

this is my favorite store for partywear and the jeans are remarkable! It was a challenge buying jeans for my height and body type until I discovered Koshesion. I only wish they had an online store or at least a store in the city (nyc) business would boom!!! :) i recommend Kohesion to everyone although I wish it was my own little secret lol
