  • In response to "tealover83"'s comment, how dare you write such horrible words about such a phenomenal hairstylist. You must be very insecure about yourself in order to slander someone's good name like that. I have been going to Lindsey for three years now for my color and cut and would trust no one else with such. I have very stubborn hair and am not afraid to admit a bit of a difficult client. She always knows just what to do with my hair to have me walking out looking fabulous EVERY time. I will continue to refer all my friends and family to her!
  • A stylist named Lindsey is someone to avoid. She's pretty amateurish. I first went to her for partial highlights, and instead had her dye my hair darker as the base color, seeing as how I already had some older highlights in. She dyed my hair MUCH darker than I wanted, but I tolerated it thinking I'd have nice chestnut colored high-lights put in by her the following week. Well, despite the fact that she dyed my hair a darker color, within a few days my roots were noticeably lighter than the rest of my hair. That was the reason why I had her dye my hair in the first place, and it pissed me off quite a bit to think I spent $70 (tip included) to have my hair look like that. When it was time for my next appointment I brought my roots to her attention, but she was pretty much in denial and asked if I looked at my hair in the "outside light"...as if that would make my roots look darker. Heh. Anyways, I asked for my *partial* high-lights, and two hours later I was shocked to discover that my hair looked exactly the same! You could not see any chestnut colored highlights at all! And my roots also looked even lighter! It's as if she high-lighted my roots and nothing else. I was extremely angry, but said nothing. When I went up to pay, I was shocked to discover that my partial highlights now cost $80, when before they were more like $55. I inquired as to why it was costing so much, and she had a baffled look on her face as if she wasn't even expecting me to ask why the price had gone up considerably in less than a month. Her response was, "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that I got promoted so I charge a little more now". Honestly, I have no idea how this moron got promoted, but something tells me she's full of shit and just wanted to make herself some extra money or whatever. And yes, I do always tip 20%, so I have no idea why she'd do that! Anyways, she then told me that it cost what it did because it was as if she did full high-lights on me. First off, BULL CRAP! Second, I asked for a partial. Anyways, I feel taken advantage of, and I'm very upset with the results of my hair. I truly hope she gets fired because she's terrible at what she does.
